Price (only $5 difference) and looks aside.
Which is the better buy? For what reason?
I want to overclock a 6600k.

I can only see one has 4 sata connectors and the other, 6. Everything else is Japanese(not my fluent language)..

I would go with the z170 a. Mainly because the heat sinks look more effective and reviewing Asus's site i feel that it's quality is better than the pro gaming.

I personally bought a z170-ar
