Then its the tiny fan vs the bigger fan and much bigger chamber in 980Ti.
Im out. Enough ranting from me. I really really hope wccftech is quoting wrong price here. What a freaking disaster this card will be for that price

Are you trolling? You are the only one who is making a big fuss about the card.

Do you know about overheating issues with reference 980ti and Titan X is tropical climate? I bet you didn't know.

I am going to make the conservative guess that the $650 MSRB is incorrect, but this begs the question:

Asides from empty PR, what the bloody hell did AMD have to offer for the past year or two?

- The existence of the 300 series was questionable
- The Fiji line was overhyped for its own good
- Project Quantum never reached retail shelves, putting aside the Intel CPU/mobo
- the "revolutionary" Zen CPU remains MIA

Nano cost far less than GTX 980Ti to manufacture than R9 Nano, yet AMD is charging the same price. Yes I know one is ITX and the other one isnt.

Its not been released yet, you are right. I hope wccftech is wrong, but I doubt it considering they sit with NDA info.
I hope for AMDs sake and the little reputation they have left the $649 price is wrong.

Stop making a fuss about the pricing, you are just god damm irritating.

Zen is scheduled for 2016 in case you have no idea.

What they have offered? They power xbox one and PS4 consoles.

£509 with a 3 month finger wave disclosure on AIBP selling nothing but the vanilla product. Does this not seem like they're trying to alienate them? Especially after the lack of Fury X supply. Also what does this mean when the 3 months is up, custom AIBP cards could be worth waiting for.

I know about the planned release date for Zen, but that does not alleviate the issue regarding the lack of a single word spoken about the chips.

Also, the consoles were released at the end of 2013, erring on two years ago. The target demographic does not know or much less care about the components of the system. To add to the pain, the profit margins AMD gets per system sold is insignificantly tiny.

If that price is correct, AMD might have been better with cut down version of Fiji with much cheaper price tag instead of full sized core. Are they trying to make like their own version of Titan for HTPC?

If it was 100$ cheaper i could have understand ( full fiji gpu without the clc ) but for 650$ ......
I hope that those wccf infos are wrong and the retail price is 500-550$ for the sake of AMD future, they can't afford to lose market shares again frown.gif

Yep, the $650 better be incorrect. But as I said, I think wccftech got NDA info so it is probably right. Remember they were the one posting the R9 Nano specs before anyone else...

I don`t think AMD have a clue or plan on anything they are doing. They have people in the management that order their ATI engineers to make good products, but the management butcher the products by poor timing execution and pricing. Which the Fury cards will be forever known for now that the last piece R9 Nano looks to be a freaking $650 card.

They wanted to no longer be known as the cheaper option. Instead, they are making themselves known as the more expensive option that comes at a premium for no reason.

Fury is their premium brand. Go buy an 8gb 390X and be happy, they're cheaper!
