So my $599 prediction wasn't so nuts after all. I guess you'd better really need that 30% over the 970 in 4K if you are going to pay double for it.

Edit: Also custom cards in 3 months? That's interesting.

649$ huh?

Well it's not like I was waiting for this card and am disappointed about it being that expensive, but I am disappointed to see that we are awaiting a dark future if this pricing and naming continues frown.gif

$650 MSRP LOL. And we still don't have any actual benchmarks. Just AMD propaganda showing how it is faster. I'll believe it when I see real reviews.

Even if it does perform as advertised it sure is not worth a $650 price tag.

Guess that means Fiji remains a very low volume product, because there's no way they'll be selling many of those at that price. If Nvidia were feeling malicious, they could get a 980 into the same form-factor for cheaper and cut the Nano off at the knees.

I really suspect that is truth.
After all,its WCCF.

I don't- what? Just, what? That can't be right. At that pricepoint, I'd just get a Fury X and make sure there's room for a 120mm radiator.

650$ card that is maybe faster than an overclocked itx 350$ 970 when it doesn't throttle due to power shortage.

Hmmm. Looks like AMD has a winner here for people who:
  • Need an “ITX sized” gpu
  • Don’t need HDMI 2.0
  • Need high end performance
  • Think $650 is reasonable

Show of hands?

I'm convinced nVidia could sell a mini 980 for $249 and still make money.

Well, they could certainly slide one in for under $650.
