Rereading my posts they don't seem supportive, so I think apology is in order for them and I hope it all turns out good for you smile.gif .

Update : I got an email from sapphire RMA center in HK with the tracking number via DHL they sent me a new card but the same reference so no upgraded version for me.
what I am going to do is i will sell both ,my r9 290x and gtx 970 g1 gaming and get 2x 390 8gb i will need to add like 150$ to get them but it think they well worth it.

Hard luck but at least they came through! My card arrived at their RMA centre in the Czech Republic this week.

How long did it take for them to "action" the RMA after receiving the card?

Well interestingly they take like 6 days to inform me that they will replace my card and another 4 days to get my tracking number.

Was hoping for an upgraded version but can sell this one for 250$ easy in my country and get like 300$ for the gtx 970 g1 that's a nice 550$ I will be able to grab 2x r9 390s with a little 100$ they are better cards and more future proof.

Hopefully they are a bit faster in the European RMA centre. I mean, they do say they will ship out another/repaired card within 15 days of receiving my one, so I can't complain yet! I just hope I have my card back by next week smile.gif

I am 2 days away from getting my RMA'd card do you guys think I keep my reference 290x or sell it with my gtx 970 and grab 2x powercolor r9 290 turbo due OC for 503£ cause I am willing to get a 39 inch 4k monitor next month.

Even 2x 290 may not be able to drive 4k @ 60fps, keep that in mind.

I can't do SLI duo to motherboard limitation with h97 chipset.
And I think I will get more fps with 2x 290s than single r9 fury or even gtx 980ti
Well I will wait and decide after I get my card back.
H97 may not do SLI but I bet it does Crossfire.

The only problem is spotty CFX support from devs these days. I went from dual 290 Tri-X to a Fury X and I love it, but I'm only playing at 1440p.

So you think a single r9 fury x will give more performance vs cf 290s if so then gtx 980ti is cheaper here I can get one as low as 580£ while fury x is 610£ and they at the same level of performance.
