If anyone is serious about gaming and wants the best possible experience, gsync is an absolute must. Regarding resolution, 1440p+ is the way to go now, 1080p is far too old and doesn't do gpu's justice.
Yes it was i think, 1440p/4K seem to be the next standard resolution in all monitor within next months/years
But 1440p AND G-Sync also mean higher price than G-Sync and 1080p mad.gif

Acer 24" XB240HAbpr

AOC 24'' g2460Pg

Which one since XL2420G is out of my budget?

I love 1440p and 144Hz G-Sync. Best money I spent on a monitor system. With G-Sync's low end advantage over FreeSync, you can crank the graphics up and have a smooth gaming experience even at 28FPS, and with 144Hz on the upper side, it will be some time before cards will be powerful enough to always run at that rate at 1440p and it no longer matters.

I look at a monitor as a 5+ year investment.

I found for 260 eur including shipping

http://www.amazon.de/Acer-Predator-XB240Hbmjdpr-Reaktionszeit-H%C3%B6henverstellbar/dp/B00P67ZW8M%3Fpsc%3D1%26SubscriptionId%3DAKIAJF44X56R7Y4NYZNQ%26tag%3Dshoptimate0e-21%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB00P67ZW8M

Unbelievable
What the trick in it?
Not many reviews for this monitor that is even cheaper than AOC which is usually recommended as one really affordable

249 Euro ($280) + Shipping for the one withOUT G-Sync. 434 Euro ($488) for the one with (Basically $208 for the G-Sync option).

Me, I'd go with the G-Sync option if you plan on keeping the monitor for like 4+ years. For $50 a year, G-Sync is a great way to go.

My bad, the name reference looks terrible and confusing
Yes 430/450 eur is more acceptable than 600 eur for 1080p/G-Sync
