Also, you'll be capped by the maximum bandwidth of the CPU<=>PCH link which is theoretically 4 Gbps and 3.5 Gbps or less in real-world testing. You can check out this video for some 2x 950 pro benchmarks.

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a mobo with HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.2 support that can fit in a Streacom FC10 case.

Beyond the Gaming 7 and the Gaming G1, which other motherboard support this ?

I understood that it requires Alpine Ridge chip, yet looking at Gigabyte website there are not really explicit about HDCP 2.2 support apart from the two cards above (eg : the Gaming 5, does it support HDCP 2.2 ?)

I'm wondering, is there any way to change the resolution of the BIOS Splash and the BIOS itself? Really bugging me.

For my board, the GA-Z170X-UD5, the @BIOS utility has a tool [confusingly] named "face wizard" that allows you to program a custom BIOS Splash. The manual unfortunately doesn't specify the resolution of this image, but you can use the tool to download the stock image from the BIOS so I'd start by doing that and checking it's size.

I don't believe it's possible to change the resolution.

No point then. I wouldn't mind the stock image if I couldn't see artifacts all around it. Well, what an you do?

BIOS image or Splash screen is .bmp (Bitmap image) type, Bit depth 24 and dimmension 809x116 pixels.

To change, can use @BIOS or AMI ChangeLogo 5.

How exactly does it work? Does the program just spit out a the same BIOS with the splash image replaced, then you flash it yourself using Q-Flash?

Also, would you happen to know why the Gigabyte driver disc has more drivers than the site? I'm beginning to think I'll just let the disc do an express install and call it a day.

Yea,first splash screen should be replaced, then flash complete BIOS.
Drivers (which you need) can be install from disc and update from Windows updates.

I disabled that Windows feature. Causes more trouble than its worth. The ones on the disc should still be ok, right?
