So I have 2 MAC/Physical Addresses they do look to be normal as described above. But under one of them it says this. I want to apologize to everyone for my stupidness, I am very new at all this stuff, lots of these terms and their meaning are new to me. I don't know what "FPT Z170 DOS" means or of I did it. I just know I flashed my BIOS to F22f by creating a Bootable Drive using RUFUS and used QFlash in BIOS. Then I was given the choice to use "Fast" Installation or "Intact" and I chose Intact. I don't even know if I lost my Mac address or not but it doesn't seem that way.

The MAC address on the First screenshot (Edited out) Looked to be normal, compared to the example given on the last post. However next to one of the MAC addresses (First screenshot) it says "Media Disconnected" Not sure if this means i lost my MAC address or I am good. Thanks everyone for the help.

Notice Tunnel adapter Physical Address. Also I erased everything but if I left anything important please let me know.

Nah it's fine. Media disconnected just means the cable isn't plugged in. The confusion about comes because it was assumed you didn't use Q-flash but a lower lever tool called FPT.exe which is the only reason to create a bootable drive in the first place. Q-flash can read pretty much any FAT/FAT32 formatted USB stick, no need to use Rufus to make it bootable.

Great! Thanks for clarifying! I appreciate that. So given that I used QFlash my MAC address should be fine. Thanks for the Help.
I can't believe after MoBo replacement my Temperature has dropped. Computer doesn't freeze or crashes anymore. Doesn't lag. Hell even the IO shield LED is way brighter. First RMA they sent back same MoBo. Issues persisted. Second RMA this year 4 months later asked/begged for replacement. No issues at all.

First Gigabyte experience but I am very happy with their customer service. It took 12 days from the time it arrived to them to have it back at my house.thumb.gif

Man I love my Humble Rig. The Overclock forum community is the best I've seeing in 5 years too. Anyway. Done talking. Thanks yall

Recently picked up a gaming g1 for $200, flashed her to f21 and am having weird lag with my keyboard and mouse. Apparently its an issue with thunderbolt, I do know that unplugging can solve thr issue but is there a more permanent fix?

Maybe you have a bad flash, try a Bios reflash of F21.

Flashed several times, I needed to pull the power plug each time something in the bios was changed. Apparently there is no fix as of yet.

Did you contact Gigabyte yet? They will test to replicate the problem and make a fix for the Bios.smile.gif

Its not an isolated issue as it has been happening to folks since the f21 update. I returned the board and went with another brand.

I can't count the number of times the issue has not been reported to gigabyte and they no nothing about the issue so they can work on it.wink.gif

Gigabyte is FULLY aware there are issues with their BIOS updates. I've personally called them myself with an issue on an F21 BIOS update concerning my GA-Z170X Gaming GT board where it never worked right after the F21 BIOS update. All they'll basically tell you is they'll elevate the issue and get back to you.... but they never do call you back. And the issue is still here!

Anyway I ultimately dumped my Z170 board in favor of the Z270 (GA-Z270X Gaming 8) board don't have any issues, even after updating it's BIOS.
