Yup.

Have you ran any memory stability tests? Are you using xmp for a memory OC? If so have you tried defaults?

I'm running XMP, yea. I haven't stability tested, but maybe ill do that tonight.

I could also try running my memory at it's appropriate timings but turning XMP off. In the early days, XMP didn't work at all with my board, but the most recent BIOS's have fixed that.

Thanks Jason-uk.

The light kit I'm using is logisys 12" RGB kit. I've got an additional strand for a total of 24 inches of strip. They are very bright and come with the usual features of being able to dim/brighten and can be programmed to do other lighting effects. You can see the IR reader at the bottom right corner where the red gpu power cables intersect with the case, its just barely out there. The kit was around $15.

I have the GA-Z170X-UD5 and love everything about it except for the glowing red power & overclock buttons and 2-digit 7-segment diagnostic LEDs. They ruin my color scheme.

Anyone find a way to make System Information Viewer start up with the OS? App Center starts but that's it. I've tried adding a shortcut in the start up folder with full privileges but no dice. I see the newest beta bios, which isn't posted on Gigabytes website yet, has the built in fan software but I couldn't get it to stick with the curve I wanted for whatever reason so I reverted back.

Don't have an answer for your issue but out of curiosity did you run into any other issues with the new beta BIOS? I've the Gaming GT, and wanted to give it a try but decided to wait till it hit Gigabyte's official site.

Thanks.

I didn't - but honestly didn't use it much. I just flashed it cause of the smart fan control within bios and reverted when I couldn't get it to work. Will have to wait for it to hit the site I suppose and hope it works then.
