Hey guys, this build will progress and change as i go, specs on this page are not up to date. This is where i started though. Check my signature for my most up to date components.

Case: NZXT S340
Mobo: GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 V.4 Bios F3 custom cooled VRM and NB.
CPU: FX-4350 @ 5.2ghz @ 1.476 volts under load
CPU Cooler: Corsair H110 with 2 Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM
GPU: GIGABYTE R9 380 4gb flavor
RAM: 8 gigs Corsair vengeance @ 1600
PSU: Corsair CX750 ( I know...)
HDD: WD 1T blue

Monitor: AOC E2243Fwk 1920x1080 60hz
Keyboard: Microsoft sidewinder x4
Mouse: Logitech G400

Wow 5.2GHz that's pretty nice :thumbup:

Mind doing some benches for me?

I'm curious to see how well it does with Cinebench 11.5 and Cinebench R15 smile.gif

Modified the cas for better airflow. Wrapped some magnets in kydex

Ordered an FX-8370E. Hoping I get lucky and the chip will OC to 5.0ghz. Also got a noctua 120mm redux for the rear exhaust.

So i have no idea if this is good or not....

5.03ghz (doesnt go over 51c) got a 402.


5.23ghz (hits 60c at 100% fan speed) got a 410.


You can see it runs at 1.488v underload.

Closed everything except for cinebench. Got a 419.

Upped the voltage and the clock speed ran a bench at 5.33ghz at 1.5v under load. Hit 63c and scored a 427.
