I really liked the original Diamondback, but the shape needs improvements. The new Diamondback doesn't have those improvements and it has a horrible sensor for more serious users.

probably they won't let anyone else get 4000dpi. who knows
i wonder if it's possible load am010 srom onto pmw3320. if it is, if someone could figure out how to flash custom firmware onto a 3320 mouse, i could rip the am010 srom off the g402 or g302 thumb.gif

So true, where's that evangelist for all things relating to the Philips Twin-Eye sensor, he should love this in spades specool.gif .

Because I don't want to use a hardpad which is almost a requirement to use that sensor.
Also it costs 110$ here, which makes it one of the most expensive non wireless mice.

Not paying 110 bucks for that sensor.

Although if it had a simple 3310 I would pay that.
Lights are useless for me though, I turn off everything since I have my computer on 24/7 and don't want a disco light when im going to bed.

Yeah i'd pay $110 or more if it had a 3310 or 3366. So stupid to put a laser sensor in the Diamondback, considering its history.

It's a RAZER Gaming Mouse hence don't question it here because all the gamers will scalp you for your heresy lachen.gif .

Not according to Razer's statistics because the MORE lights that are added, helps to highlight your gaming superiority for everyone to see spam1.gif .

So, I haven't followed this for a while.

But a laser sensor?

RIP

All hype and no goods but great looks.

Being serious here now on. Have they solved the inherent problem of the laser sensor mysteriously or is this truly a mouse to steer clear from?

It's the same old Philips Twin Eye. Therefore, they added variable CPI to lessen the issue.
