I switched from Firefox because i got tired of updates that made it slower in certain websites using certain plugins.
The update a month ago did it for me. Firefox was using too much CPU time for some sites that i needed to have running a considerable amount of time. On top of that, it got slower overall and scrolling was choppier. I had been reluctant to switch to Chrome because it didn't have NoScript, even if i wanted a snappier browser. Turns out ScriptSafe is much better than NoScript. Win-win.
Chrome uses more memory (at least it did before the update a few days ago), but memory usage is not a problem for me as i always have a considerable amount left over.
