[USB Audio] HyperX Cloud II - NOT ABLE TO DO Speaker and Headset audio simultaneously?

Thread Starter
I recently picked up some HyperX Cloud 2's and it has a USB dongle which connect my dual jack into. Well when I plug in the USB dongle I am unable to run both my audio from both my speakers and headset at the same time.

I had the Turtle Beach X12's before the HyperX and it had USB power, mic, and headphone jack and I was able to play the same audio from both speakers and headset. However with the new Cloud 2's I cannot. I can switch between devices and whichever device isn't default will just be in a standby mode per say until I switch back the default, but I'm having no luck in getting both speakers and headset to play the same audio.

I did try to recording > stereo mix > listen tab > listen to this device > playback through this device [headset]

But still no luck.

Am I doing something wrong, or any owners of this headset able to help me solve this problem?

Use the same connection setup as you did with the X12.
There is no need to use the USB soundcard, you can't make two different soundcards output the same audio signal without using some weird software setups (virtual audio cable, etc.).

Our Cloud II and Cloud Core use a single 4-Pole Jack that combines both the Mic and Audio signals.  For those that have a traditional sound card that requires a separate Mic and audio connector you will need a 4-pole headset splitter such as this one from Startech: MUYHSFMM.

We originally intended our Cloud II to be used with the USB adapter for 7.1 virtual surround for PC/Mac and stereo for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.  However we see that some of our users do not use the USB adapter so we released the Cloud Core which is basically the same headset as the Cloud II without the USB adapter and an addition to the 4-Pole headset splitter.

If you plan on using the USB Sound card it will take priority over the Windows audio settings.

So you replaced the cable on your own? Generally we cover our headsets for up to two years from the original purchase date so we highly advise our users to contact us before attempting any repairs.  Otherwise this will void the warranty. For what it's worth did you make sure to follow the general guide for a 4-pole connector?

i live in Iraq and i bought the headset from the amazon so i can't use the warranty
so i tried to replace the jack
when i changed it the microphone didn't work but the sound is good
i followed the general guide for a 4-pole connector ,but the the wire is different from the guide cause the (hyperx cloud 2) have 5 wire (blue-red-copper-green-green and red together)
and i didn't know how to compare it with the guide for a 4-pole connector
so could you teach me how to connect my hyperx cloud 2 cause it's even different from the image you sent to me 900x900px-LL-6103c51e_TRRS_Xbox_Headset.jpeg 79k .jpeg file
