And thats pretty odd, maybe skylake's memory controller actually works well with overclocked ram, haven't gotten my hands on a skylake system yet. Haswell-E really didn't didn't like high OC DDR4 though.

OK good this will be my first X99 experience. Thanks for the info. I found some Crucial RAM that's VERY affordable yesterday and it has good reviews might give it a try then thumb.gif

On that system I was running a 6700K from Silicon Lottery a 4.7 chip on a Gigabyte ITX mobo too. The ram was 16GB (2X8GB) G. Skil Ripjaws V DDR4 3200mhz. The Gigabyte BIOS had an XMP profile which I used to test as well. Was a nice setup but it was overkill for the wife and I just wanted to go X99 for my build afterward and go bigger on the case to water cool.

Well things have changed...... again.........

Why what's up? By the way, regarding RAM / CPU OC, those faster DDR4 RAM kits use higher BCLK and strap, which could also affect the CPU OC. I was just reading back a page and thought I'd throw that in there.

I was going to let things be, but for the sake of the community I cannot with good mind stay quiet on this. Parvum systems is a complete mess and they can't seem to do anything right.

I went to put my wife's Veer together tonight and quite frankly I'm so pissed off I feel like just taking this case to the range tomorrow and pumping it full of bullet holes because that's about all it's worth at this point. I cannot recommend Parvum to ANYONE. And I am not the only one having issues with them but for whatever reason the issues seem to keep quiet. My Black Friday case (the case for this build) I was told via email shipped on December 16th and was suppose to be a Christmas build for the wife. How hard can it be to crank out a production case in all black. A month later the case had yet to ship. The power switch is chrome and not black, and has no lock ring or any kind of device to hold it in place so I am not sure what exactly Parvum expected me to do with it for it to stay in place. The back panel has a nice scratch in the shape of a triangle on it, and for god's sake what the heck were they thinking with the way the GPU mounts in here???? The GTX 750 Ti is just floating I cannot use this case like this. Not to mention there are no directions, just a link to a youtube video with a different case and you just kind of have to "figure it out". All that aside, these panels must have been cut on different tooling because barely any of them line up correctly, and the bottom side of the motherboard tray is damaged as well. I could have thought of much better ways to spend the money I did o this and not have to deal with this aggravation.

And don't get me started on the delays for my case that never came to be, at least I got a refund on that. I honestly now wish this case would not have been ready and I would have gotten a refund on it too.

It is very apparent to me that unless you're one of the well known case modding guys in the community don't expect anything great from Parvum. I got a subpar product, damaged, with missing parts that don't fit correctly, and I had the luxury of paying full retail price for it, and getting it late and my wife's Xmas present being ruined twice now. Once because the case didn't show up on time, and now a second time because it's not useable in it's condition. I know Parvum has a strong following on here, but I just don't see it. And after the experience I have had I never will.

NEVER AGAIN! mad.gif

You want a Parvum, cool, but you have been warned. I hope the others on here having issues will come forward as well so I am not singled out as a bad apple which I am sure is what is going to happen.

Parvum, what you guys need to do is shut your doors and stay closed until you can figure out how to run a business and get caught up on orders thumb.gif

If someone wants a deal on a Veer 1.0 in black send me a PM, because this case is useless to me!!

Ive had issues with Parvum recently as well. They took much longer than the stated production time for the case and told me their CAD guy was on vacation (i had minor custom work). I decided thats fair enough and waited. There were 2 more long delays like this then I got my package. They sent me the wrong color case, and 2 panels had some decent scratches on them which im positive werent from opening the package. Package came in fairly rough condition too. They said they would send the right color parts last monday but nothings shown up yet.
