3D Printed Gaming HTPC Case - Page 2

Thread Starter
So because I am treating this as a prototype Ive already began work on V2 of the case.

One thing I am not a fan of in this version is that other than the corner cut, its very plain, which works well when the case is smaller (like the original inkubus)
So Ive added some edges to make it different, and also there is a plan for some LEDs in the case, because who doesnt love LED's???

So this is the new design. Same overall dimensions (10"x10"x10") I switched the corner with the button since I cant bevel the edge where the motherboard is mounted.
The white parts will be hollow and will each hold a stip of RGB independently assigned LED's. Also the black I plan to use some textured spray paint to give it a very similar look to this rendering.

Finally in my epiphany the other day I realized I can print the entire side as one if printing it vertical (all be it a 20 hour print, but worth it) So as soon as I figure out what I want changed about the original case production on the V2 will begin!!

As always, comments and questions are appreciated. Everyone have a fantastic Wednesday!

If i can comment honestly?
Why dont you instead use cast acrylic 3-5mm thick sheets for the sides/panels? And work them into how you need?
Then do prints were needed?
