Firmware Added Button Delay Testing Attempts(Tapping mouse buttons lightly) - Page 29

lol if we are just going off the breadboard test areson/gigabyte m63 > bloody n60.

there is also some weird quirks with the bloody n60.

the most obvious one is the +14ms(vs m63 raptor) delay that kicks in when the mouse is lifted. second one is when the scroll button, and dpi/side buttons are pressed a +14ms delay appears in the results.

the worst one though?

THE CURSOR WILL MOVE DOWN WHEN THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON IS HELD DOWN. TAPPING IT ALSO MOVES THE CURSOR

Seriously I have this mouse put back together and it does this. Now I know why it felt jittery as hell when I was using it. Unbelievable.

This mouse is terrible do not buy it.

edit: went back to be sure if the stupid anti recoil thing might have been triggered, it was off. and it still moved the cursor down. im just trashing this thing now.

The screw holding the led pcb that lit the scroll wheel wasnt screwed in. The part of the top shell that held the dpi and macro buttons could bend and interfere with the scroll wheel lol

That's odd.

G500 Button Duration:

18ms instead of the now standard 21ms on Logitech mice. eh whatever, not something i'd care about.

Yeah, it's weird. Some people get wonky results. I don't know if it's related to what windows version it is.

Isn't button release delay absolute murder for release to shoot game mechanics?

Logitech mice have been doing the different set duration thing since the 1990's.

What is a release to shoot game mechanic?
csgo grenades for instance

20ms is probably quite hard to notice for release
