I love this keyboard. The keys have a nice click to them, both in touch and sound. This is my first mechanical keyboard and I'm definitely hooked now, regular keyboards don't feel right. The lights on it can get crazy, but you can adjust their brightness with either an FN button combo (FN+F11 or FN+F12), or the Synapse software.

(my "micro-review" of the keyboard, I guess....hehehe....)

I had the Razer and Corsair keyboards.
Hands down, Corsair Keyboard
Built quality is much higher.

Is that ridiculous wrist rest removable on the Corsair keyboard? Can I ask what you felt was wrong with the BlackWidow?

Yes you can remove the wrist rest.

The razer keyboard is a cheap. light weight plastic. Corsair has a solid, heavy duty aluminium build.
I also liked the software better for the Corsair.

For a "light weight" plastic, it sure is a fairly heavy and very sturdy keyboard. You sure you're referring to the BlackWidow, not a lower model like the Arctosa? The Arctosa and Lycosa are both thin plastic and they flex in the center of the keyboard.

Is the Blackwidow the same as the Chroma? If so, then yeah - felt a little cheap.

I bought both to see which I liked better, returned the Chroma.
