Now its nearly the same plattform..
But remember.. Im completly under air.. So my cpu clock is not so high..
I try tomorrow to shot it back to ya!

Because I'm a nice guy, yes. I'm rebuilding my cpu, water loop right now as I type this. Yes that older stuff was holding me back.

I'll hit you back with info. I'm still getting used to the differences settings wise on this system.
I'm on air on the card.

????

try a nut and bolt shop, find out what size the thread you need is, ie 6-32 or M3 etc, then contact a shop and ask for 50mm / 2" length. some hobby shops might keep stuff like that too. Failing that I'd ditch the shrouds as you be better off using a slightly thicker radiator if possible.

I want to share my experience with my card.. Maybe u can get something thru that for yourself..
I have realy problems to use the extendet mode.
Nearly everything what i set will get unstable.
May u try the standard mode and try it again with these settings:
+50 on voltage, 100 powerlimit, 85 templimit, coreclock to youre 1501Mhz, memclock +180. Memvoltage try 0 or +25.. Nand aux -100
If its unstable try to reduce memclock .. If that failure try to set it up within to +250Mhz

I hope my English is not too bad for you.. Otherwise enjoy it smile.gif

By adjust the fan curve and in msi standard mode without ln2 i could get to 1501 : 3900 with voltage 1.180 By reading with MM .. aux -100, mem 0.
Thats not bad. Im happy about it.. And good luck for youre next goals @sphere..
But everything behind this it is very difficult . Even in the extended mode, i can not come up with the same voltage to the clock 1501 because its really unstable. It make me a little bit confused... But in the Next days i try to use the unlocked bios from here and also the ln2.. Maybe i got some better things.

edit:
Im finisht today with this:
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/10725784

That works on ln2 1510MHz with 3900MHz on ram. -100aux and 0 on ram.
Oh.. I forget to say that i have the samsung ram and a asic of 73,9..
uuh..
My score looks better tongue.gif .. And i wonder about your poor score . You have more than 100MHz on chip and the same on ram . A cpu on 5GHz clocked at 4/8 cores .. little older but very well overclocked ... Maybe it's the better platform ..

Here, this will make you feel better.

Did that last night barely playing around. thumb.giftongue.gif

Here's the compare. thumb.gif

HA! That back fired on ya.

Nice mate, much better with that 6 core hey, keep pushing it biggrin.gif

Ty sir! I still need to get more used to everything settings wise. I rebuilt my loop and added another rad and more fans today. Cleaned all the five year old dust out of the other two rads lol.

80mm is not thick enough?
The idea of the shroud is to direct the airflow straight rather than 45 degrees.

This is my 7/24 stable use everyday. Not max o.c smile.gif

Card is running 1530Mhz and 2050Mhz of ram / %63.8 Asic

Plenty of Luck to everyone thumb.gif

Haha, yeah, thought you were still trying to go inside the case with a thin radiator. If you have the room then yeah try a nut & bolt shop, I end up getting stuff that way all the time, plus you can get some fancy button head cap screws in carbon steel etc that way smile.gif
