yeah ideally I'd have the inlet/outlet in the center like yours but I can only do that if I custom make a top, which can be done quite simply, but I really like the stock mounting mechanism on this swiftech block so I'd like to keep using that, would be hard to incorporate that into the custom one, but as you say could just use the perspex as the mount but I need to torque the TEC's down with that mount so it has to be strong. The swiftech mounting plate is like 2.5mm thick steel so I can put a bit of torgue in without worrying about cracking the mount, cracking the motherboard is a different story if I get carried away with it hahaha.
I think it can work the way I want to modify it. Also the spots in bottom left and top right that might not get much coolant aren't actually covering the TEC at all.

I'm banking on the restrictiveness of the copper pin matrix to basically create back pressure in that inlet channel on the left, so that it will be pressurized evenly, not just at the point where the inlet hole is, so that the coolant is forced across the block evenly by the built up back pressure rather than by the actual inlet flow itself as would happen normally, also without that little o-ring in the center there is no clearance above the pins really so it should be more restrictive but as it has the whole width of the block to flow across it should still flow freely.Edited by LiamG6 - 10/27/15 at 6:45am
