biggrin.gif thanks also I know can't wait till I get the other radiator and water blocks maybe a 6 tec chiller will do really well and maybe or under 10 at load

Plus yea I think I wasn't full powering them the power supply had a bad cap it was very swollen I had to poke it.. So I happened to have an identical better make cap replaced it and that happened..

Main performance depends on your cpu block heat transfer capabilities with your cpu.

With the peltiers in, it will only give you linear decreace in temps, 10c lower load temps with peliter on means your 70C will only become 60C

Make sure to calcualte how much perfomance is out putted using data sheet, looking at wattage output vs delta of hot and cold side

According to my experience Peltier and Phase change coolers cooling water is only a accesory.
Untill you get some serious wattage in there you will get extra GHZ for turning it on

Honestly I'm happy home made micro fin waterblock plus home made bullet proof top then the chiller I am doing well cooling the hot Xeon as just on water cooling it would hit 75+°c now under 40 after ages of Intel burn test but forgot screen shot cause update restart like normal

Also I don't need extra ghz for turning it on I like working for it plus already at 2ghz oc why would I want 3? Haha tongue.gif

Also yea cooling the water is an accessory but I can cool a cpu gpu vrm's with 1 unit that would be portable with phase it's pointless I don't want 4 heavy loud and quite ugly things cooling my PC for maybe extra 150-200mhz more? Just my opinion but I could just use my phase water chiller but it's heavy and ugly with tecs it all fits into the water cooling that would be there anyway 1 360 rad that would fit in most pc's and cool a lot of cpu's to a good temp that's why I built it easy to upgrade easy to fit easy to move dosnt matter if it gets turned over or onto its side with oil moving and setting it for a few hours so it don't clog up tubes just things I looked into before I set out building not just one day thinking I'm gonna build a chiller and not use it

I ment you will NOT get extra GHZ, untill you have some serious wattage of chill going on.

It will only act as an accsesory and will lower temps a bit, and keep the cpu less stressfull.

Oh sorry fort you was saying my cooling wasn't good enough haha and kinda I could use less power and freeze my cpu to 0°c with 200w load if I wanted to with a direct die like Liam is doing but big bigger scale but I don't want to push more power or over clock and at not much hotter then room temp under 100% load I think it works fine for what I want it for

Direct die will get you no where if you want to cool a 1.6V 4 core or 8 core amd CPU thumb.gif

I am going to when I build my direct die I can freeze an amd with it if I wanted to wink.gif 1.6v 5+ ghz on an fx cpu it wouldn't even see 5°c under load as want to build it for my delided fx 4100

I have no idea on how your gonna achieve it. 288w power usage peltiers only output 177W
So theres a 50x50mm peltier that does 600 700w power consumption out there?
Yeah mulitiple peltiers, as it is directly ontop of cpu its less effective , and I have no Idea on how you can fit 3or more peltiers ontop of cpu

direct contact goes to phase changes not peltiers

2x 545w 62mm peltiers at 12 volt will cool 550w roughly a 300w cup will be at -1°c cold plate temps but yet still easier to move and could look a lot better

Plus if I could buy a single 24v 28amp peltier it can cool 600watts on its own wink.gif at 12 volt it can cool 300w to 0-c and be quite efficient
