Just realised. I have a sheet of galvionised steel lieing arrond. Theres also precutholes. Swapping from clamps to bolt on should be easy and quick thumb.gif

does this help?

well it should work just hope thepins will fully cover the peltier not just the copper base as the outsides wont cool much..

That block looks quite well made and nice and thick so should do the job fine also you can upload the pics onto here and makes it easier as I use a phone and have to wait for them websites to be scanned by antivirus and stuff before it lets me go on them lol

It seems obvious that a single loop is not a good solution. Then I can fall back into the two separate loops.
1. I would be doing what someone did before in one of the forums: let the GPUs be hooked to a water cooling loop with enough radiators to keep temps below 40 C.
2. That would leave cooling the CPU, with a modified cooling block, one or two TECs on top of it, an insulated chilled water reservoir, one or two pumps feeding back to the cooling block..
3. One problem is that the chiller lines for the cool side of the TEC would need hefty insulation, and it looks messy. I want a case that looks good by hiding the parts that are insulated.
4. Assuming that the chiller, pumps and most of the cooling side tubing that are insulated is mounted on a rear chamber.
5. For the "elegant" side of the cooling loop, a front chamber with a window, the motherboard, cooling bloc/TECs and cooling air tower (Noctua) could be located there..
6. This is only feasible is we have two chambers in the case. The only case that could accommodate all these parts is one of the Caselabs cases, like the Magnum TH10 double sided case.
7. Problem is the loss of cold due to lack of insulation on the window side, which means that the uninsulated tubing would have to be short.
8. So it would be Back Chamber: insulated tubing from cooling block>>insulated reservoir>>pump>>insulated tubing>>bare tubbing to TEC block, to 9.
9. Front chamber: bare tubing out of TEC block>>insulated tubing to reservoir, go back to 8..

I hope all these makes sense. The other way would be to insulate the tubing that shows in the front chamber with a better looking, thinner insulation, like Armaflex.

I would welcome comments on this possible solution.
I am thankful for the people that have come before me, that have shared generously of their knowledge.

If were going chilling water with peltiers.
There need to be at least 400W of power usage of peltiers to get anywhere. With a gpu in the cold loop you'll need even more
Also, there must be no radiators at all otherwize all the cold would be radiated away.

Insulation is never a plorbem. I use tissues and it works and keeps the cold in. Not as good as professonal material but it sure works and prevents water dripping
