I am pleased with all these ssd prices dropping across the board, I think I will just going to wait for a 1tb to go below 300 and pull the trigger

I would love to have a 1tb ssd. All I have in my current rig is a 128gb 840 pro and 250gb 840 evo. I don't have room for a larger hdd because of my water cooling gear. I'll be swapping out the 840 pro with a 850 evo to give me a total of 500gb. Still not much but better nonetheless. A have a 1.5tb external hdd for extra file storage. The 840 pro will be going in another pc I'm putting together for my wife.

personally i'm kinda waiting for the PCIe3 / M.2 SSD's price to drop abit. the smaller SATA SSD's hold little interest for me since you cant fit too many games on them (considering most new games are all 30+gig's installed. i'll have to wait for the 1tb SATA SSD's as game drive and the M.2 SSD as boot drive.

The M.2 SSD sounds like a great idea. Is it as easy as setting up a SATA SSD for boot?
