Custom 2 piece rad grills

This is the start of a slow(?) and somewhat budget side project of mine. biggrin.gif

Long story short, the country I live is on the early stages of a recession and the Dollar exchange rate is skyrocketing. A 4690K is retailing for about 375 USD and every other imported goods is just as expensive as it gets.

So I just have to stop being lazy and do things myself thumb.gif
starting by finally learning on how to use corelDRAW, i made some drawings for the grills based on the primochill ones with some added design cues that are to my tastes. I took measurements from the Noctua F12, A14 and the Phanteks PH-F140TS for the specific dimensions, and this is the results:

->140 and dual 120mm radgrills with a hex mesh on the second pice

->And a 120mm to 140mm fan adapter with and without the hex mesh

There are some minor tweaks needed on the designs, but I plan to go to a plexiglass store to laser cut the grills in the next 5 days to 53 weeks, whichever comes first thumb.gif

I Think I'll post some PDFs or even the CDR files if people ask for them

Hi Vicyo,

would you be so kind to share your 120mm CDR designs, I want to do a 120mm fan grill on a side window of a hadron air chasis.

thanks
