[Guru3D] Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Gets DX12 and a Benchmark says AMD (Updated) - Page 12

When all the dx12/async hype blew out back in 2014/15 this was supposed be the showcase game for GCN. Fury X with 45 fps @1080p. Well done devs, you've outdone the worst gameworks games. GTX 1080 for 60 fps @1080p, I'm nautious from this dx12 crap same as Quantum Break. What a shame.

As far as I'm aware, drivers aren't out yet for Deus Ex from either AMD or Nvidia. Isn't it early to be pissed about graphics?

but hardly any picture quality difference.

Invisible tessellation? biggrin.gif

PS It looks like the game is poorly optimized.. which is not surprising at all..if you consider what engine DAWN is based on..

Don't really care about the delayed DX12, it's not going to be significant for anyone anyway.

The fact that this game has only one hub is disappointing though. No matter how detailed and large it is, it can't be as diverse as the previous games in this regard. It might also mean the game is shorter. You still visit many different places, but doing so in a mission is nothing like doing so in a non-combat hub with NPC interaction and so much more exploration.

As someone who played the original Deus Ex, these games make me sad.

The poor DX12 performance is probably the reason it got delayed. Won't play the game until DX12 is ironed out, like I did with Doom and Tomb Raider

RoTTR still has problems performance-wise. Unlike Doom.

True, altho 18.8 AMD drivers improved performance in DX12 noticeable. AMD says 10%, but it seems to be even more.
