DICE prioritizes multiplayer games, and to get market share they need to make the game work as fast as possible for wide rage of hardware that includes Intel HD as well.

DICE using DX12 over Vulkan doesn't make Vulkan any less good than DX12. Yes in terms of complete application development, DX12 seems more suitable as we know it contains sound and input API/libraries as well. But as a user here a page ago already has provided a link showing very few games have been built using Microsoft DirectSound, it also proves not many developers use M$'s sound API.

A user here also have told us, coming from his past posts he seems to have knowledge of graphics technology and programming.
Vulkan provides vendor specific support, means it guarantees to run at optimal speed for a specific architecture. But again it doesn't matter in real world much, if majority of users do not have relevant hardware, it would be stupid to use such API for online game.

You contradict yourself multiple times in your post. You say that Vulkan and DX12 are equal, but DX12 is better for online multiplayer gaming.

You are saying that Vulkan is more close to the metal for AMD only. What about NVAPI? What are your thoughts on it?

I am so thrilled by your interpretation and comprehension skill.

So, is there any benchmark available where DX12 performance is tested after this new patch?

I really like Windows 10. I don't have any issues with it. I think a lot of the hate can fit into one of two categories here...

1. It is riddled with adware (meaning it communicates with Microsoft).
2. Many nVIDIA users hate DX12.

Right? This one boggles the mind. Why would people dislike an API represented almost singly by games that run very poorly? Makes no sense to me.

Problems at launch seem to be a common theme with this api but I'd imagine it's because it's new and difficult (compared to DX11). Time will resolve this as developers get better at using it and working out the kinks. Also none of the DX12 games "run very poorly" really

This time next year nobody is going to use DX11(for AAA games) so you would best get used to it

I agree with you. I was just using sarcasm to address the bait.

For me here, I have a Windows that I sometimes do not use for several months. Windows 10 for this is torture from what I've seen. After it wasn't used for a long time, it seems I can't go use it for just a bit anymore. That only works well if it's used daily, otherwise Windows Update flips out for hours and through several restarts before it calms down again. I don't remember older Windows being as annoying as what I've seen from Windows 10.

There's an "LTSB" Windows version that would fix the problem because it only ever installs security updates. It's annoying that there's no way to get it without hacking activation and breaking the license agreement, which I don't want to do (that's why it's annoying).
