Huddy confirmed saying that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided would indeed launch with DX12 support. Mankind Divided will also include AMD's own TressFX Hair 3.0 technology alongside DX12. Huddy confirmed that Mankind Divided will include a built-in benchmark, too.
Update: Now here are some more interesting news. The new Deus Ex game will fully support AMD Technologies, alongside with DX12. A couple more of these, and everybody will see the Radeon GPUs from a different point of view.

So, here is the roadmap for a lot of gamers' next 2 years... Play Fallout 4 and all associated mod/dlc for the next year. Once exhausted, they'll dust themselves off and start on the same for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
NOW I have a reason to upgrade my video card at least... and probably the rest so i'm DX12 ready. Given a few months of refining, I may even go Win10 to be ready for what's next.

I will laugh so hard is Nvidia bombs in this benchmark too, tries to get the dev to not include features so they look better in the benchmark, gets exposed and then backtracks trying to control negative PR.
because it was only used in one game. and despite having an ugly opening start(due to nvidia not getting the source code earlier), the fps tank after that issue was resolved was minimal relative to the competition so any user could still enjoy it. We as users never got to see the TressFX 2.0 version, and waiting on this to see 3.0. As long as AMD allows TressFX to have a better Graphics/Performance Loss ratio to all users(AMD, Nvidia and Intel (and those <0.01% cards who may still have something obscure like a matrox)), then users will be more content with it(relative to comparing it to Gameworks implementation)
edit: rise of the tomb raider iirc will get it too
Ohh now this is something to get excited about DX12 for
Next thing on my procurement list is a 4K screen and another 390 then im sorted
I do hope that AMD beat Nvidia again for one simple reason....Competition benefits only the consumer. A lack of competition only benefits the Producer/Supplier because they can charge whatever they want.
I dont want to have to pay $1000 for a high end card in a few years (980TI equivilent) but you can still to some degree justify the sub $700 for one. Think if something like a 970/380 are priced int he $700 region

Refreshing to see AMD get some Gaming Evolved games after all these Gameworks failures. Maybe they will do that Never Settle deal again where I buy an AMD card and get 3 free games. Got Tomb Raider, Crysis 3, and Sleeping Dogs last time.
This will be done on Dawn engine which is largely based on Glacier 2 (Hitman:Absolution) so I expect it to be quite advanced and rather heavy on the GPU.
AMD TressFX is an open source software developed by AMD which provides for advanced GPU rendering of hair, fur, and grass in video games. The competing solution offered by Nvidia is HairWorks which is part of their GameWorks suite, and is proprietary in nature.
Wow, I disagree completely. In my opinion Hairworks looks WAY better than TressFX. Even watching the Rise of the Tomb Raider demo you can see that TressFX is too floaty/unnatural. Hairworks looks and performs great
Its hard to say about hairworks or tressfx. Honestly given that tressfx wasn't utilized much I feel like its not much of a comparison. Hairworks has been in the market and used for quite sometime.
But anyways I hope this title is better than the last one. For various reasons I simply couldn't finish the game, my biggest issue was with the plot line.

Easy. HW looks worse in Witcher 3 then stock hair. TressFX looks way better in TR then stock hair.
