Includes VAT, weak Euro (which will only get worse over time as "refugee"-crisis and Greece's problems slump on) and of course the general to market markup by alternate wink.gif

No doubt that the immigrant crisis will have a bit effect, being from a border state in the USA, I can sympathize to a certain extent but what Europe is dealing with is almost untenable. With regard to currency, in the US we're so used to a strong Euro and UK Pound that its weird to think about near parity of the USD and Euro.

Do you think the A10-8700P could be on par with the i5-4200U? For CPU tasks only.

Thanks, I hate there's basically no Carrizo reviews.

Hopefully we'll see the thread heat up after the Y700 is released. I took a second look at the Toshiba Radius 14 last week but its a hard sell with the horrible quality screen it has. It makes the screen on my Acer Aspire One 722 look really good. It's especially bad value when you see that the i5 equipped Radius has a 1080P IPS display and costs less than 100 bucks more. I'd say its worth about $499 max and certainly not $629 or $679.

I got my radius for $589 + tax and that was a very hard sell for me. It seems carrizo, in it's current implementation just isn't attractive enough.

Yeah, thats better but still a bit high. If it had an IPS screen I'd probably already have one.
