i don't have negative scaling in any of my games.

I had Zealot do some tests to confirm. The CPU bottlenecked parts of the game cause negative scaling. Again, I got the "check your OC" response from people on this thread, but Zealot was kind enough to check the issue on his own system to confirm. Massive thank you to Zealot for testing.

Same issue with MGSV TPP as well.

I am disappointed in Fury anyway, already decided to go green with 980 ti and pascal... also knowing that nvidia has 75% of the gpu market share almost... says to me if there is ever a driver issue for a big game, the crowd will become very loud and very fast and drivers will get fixed quick enough.

Always been an AMD fanboy honestly, but honetly im willing to pay an extra 100 bucks for a 980 ti over non-x fury at this point.

This is not about which is better. Its about fixing a AMD problem. Frankly i i where to buy a card now i would still pick 290/290X because of how well they are benching on DX12.

In the past you would just keep upgrading CPUs but CPU progression has slowed down dramatically.
because hawaii has longer and better driver improvement.withot counting that polygon throughput is the same, tess performance is pretty close, and 4096 would be raster limited too

And that will depend on the games and resolution.

Why would you that being one step from DX12 where amd is better...also that where do you get performance issues?this will require time for amd to optimize driver for Fiji XT/PRO

Same issue with MGSV TPP as well.

show where the cpu overhead happens. if you do not believe AB, then maybe HW Monitor. it's not stoichiometry. really simple.

like i said, amd cpu overhead happens. in my case . . . when i turn off HT.

BTW, i don't game . . . works.

edit: i am trying to find out if the issue is isolated to amd . . . found this and i quote:

"Hi . Im getting full 60fps at 1440p with a 970 amp core edition . Then when i activate Sli config. The same settings some times drops near 50 fps . 40% usage each card in Randoms places . Hospital- Afghanistan .

i've seen many people with this issue since yesterday . Could find some answer about it ? . Ground zeroes work perfect with the same drivers. I' think they are not ready for Sli in Tpp."

AMD BS. The point is these two contradict themselves. why do you keep claiming it's better to have a small improvement with every driver for the period of 2 years while it should be performing well already at launch. People said the same thing about Fury X when the first reviews came out as a disappointment . Wait and see, it's gonna get better with drivers. Wait for this, wait for that, wait for DX12, buy a freesync display and wait months for the driver, wait months for game specific drivers and then claim AMD is not worse while people with geforce already completed the game twice (this part is probably the reason why I sold my 290 and moved to 980). Typical AMD.

Same issue with MGSV TPP as well.
so, to sum up, in parts where you can experience overhead on a single GPU, adding another one makes it worse ?

it seems you dont know that since launch the driver keep being improved and current flagship only can be better with better drivers... rolleyes.gif
what would happen if all games in the future requires huge driver optimization for nvdia ot catch up in the competittion?
