Well imho 4K (2160P) is a disadvantage over 1440P due to screen sizes under 40". I borrowed friends 28" Asus 4K monitor for a day a month or so ago, and at the same game IQ settings it looks MAYBE 5% better than 1440P at the massive expense of frame rate. Also I was forced to scale Windows as for me the desktop was too small which looks horrific, needless to say I purchased 1440P and it was crystal clear the better option at 34" little own anything smaller.
Most PC gamers that favor 4K don't even seem to know why they want it, there is just this assumption more is always better, but below 40" I believe 4K or higher is counter productive and unnecessary, for large screen TV's and therefore future console gamers sure, I fully get that!
