Why do you need the extra gpu? If its a htpc your using it for your media. If you tried to do anything graphics or regular intensive on it that cpu will have a heart attack. I got a little mini with that same cpu and i use it strictly for media.

Why?

The 5350, in a properly configured system, can handle video at a higher bitrate than your average blu-ray rip that you'd find online so why do you need more? There's no sense in bothering.

CPUs with IGPUs are designed for that load. It's like putting two kids in the back seat of a car and saying you should move one to another car to take some load off your car. The car is fine. Don't worry about it. If you are super paranoid, check your APU temps under load but I seriously doubt you'll be in the danger zone with video playback.

Whatever program you're using for video (I very very strongly suggest JRiver, or if you're broke, VLC) make sure you are using hardware acceleration.
