It appears one of the fans on my GTX 980's TwinFrozr cooler broke and stopped spinning properly. The other fan spins fine when I take the card out and spin it with my hands, but the one that stops working gives back much resistance. It is POSSIBLE that adding some oil on the fan's bearing will help, but it is possible I will need a new cooler too.

I was wondering if I should go with HG10 cooler to replace MSI TwinFrozr, but I am not sure. Are they effective? I know my GPU temp and fan noise would be lower, although I am not sure about the noise because TwinFrozr is extremely quiet, unlike generic GTX 980 fan. What about VRM temps? Does HG10 bracker blower do a good job cooliing those down?
