Ever since I overclocked my ram, I got artifacts upon launching CSGO, even when I set it back to stock clocks

The artifacts are only while it launches, and they don't continue nor do they ever appear elsewhere. It's been like this for months, should I just not care?

here's a vid of it:https://vid.me/1aoI

I had the same problem when the overclock on my ram was to much. Post your specs and RAM info. Are you using an XMP profile?

Ahh DDR3. Did you do any CPU overclocking or anything, or are you at stock with everything? There should be an XMP profile though. Are you in advanced mode in the BIOS? If not you might have to do it manually, but ASUS site says "Due to Intel® chipset limitation, DDR3 1600 MHz and higher memory modules on XMP mode will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR3 1600 Mhz.", so you might be running at rated speed and not even know it.

since it's Samsung green ram it really doesn't have an XMP profile
