Have you tried searching for a 970 roundup?

I'd probably go with the 970 G1 Gaming.

gigabyte seems better overcloacking while msi being all rounder ?

Sounds like you have your answer then, you just need to decide what matters more to you: overclocking ability, silence, or a balance. I'm running the EVGA 970 SSC (Best Buy edition - didn't feel like waiting for shipping) and the only noise comes from the fans, but that's a non-issue since it can be changed via the fan curve. The ACX 2.0 fans do sound a bit like a hair dryer if they're at 100%, but like I said, a fan curve solves that. At stock settings, they don't even turn on until after 60*C. thumb.gif

If I would have had the patience to wait for shipping, I would have gone with the MSI Gaming 970.

Hair dryer getting ready to explode at 100%. Or a dustbuster ......
