[TV] Encryption might be the reason we've never heard from or been contacted by Aliens, says Snowden - Page 16

It was bugging me the last day, I couldn't remember but I knew we covered this before...

Contact, The movie. Just maybe, what's his name is right  we haven't deciphered the multi dimensional plans yet. Would you guys hurry up and Overlay them already in 3D so I can get off this rock.  That's it, I'm out.

I'm ready. :D

If you ask me, i believe there are intelligent life out there.

Consider this. We are aliens. We were introduced to the Earth and evolved to become where we are now. Perhaps, several galaxies away, the same thing would have happened, maybe before or after the Big Bang.

Why have they not contacted us?

Perhaps they have been contacting us all this while, except not on a medium we have been using, like radio transmissions or light. Perhaps they could be communicating through dark/antimatter, or the wormholes, black holes or white holes . Or maybe they are invisible, among us as we speak, gathering information on who we are, what we are and how much of a danger we are to them. Perhaps thats why havent struck yet as they are gathering information as it is.
Like what Tsumi says, we are not the oldest galaxy out there. They could be a more advanced civilization. We have just barely managed to cloak our tanks with the technology we have. What they could have is a more complete solution that has been improved on. Perhaps they must have worked out a way to survive and travel through wormholes.

For something so unproven, it is better not to discount everything. For all we know, one of them might just be the key to it.

I watched that video and it all went over my head. That video really made me feel stupid, yet he talks like it's common knowledge.

The best part of the video is when he says "we're going to take it slow" yet speed talks through the whole thing.

its nice, but i mean you do know that any planet that is larger than earth is unable to leave their atmosphere via chemical rockets tongue.gif
even if there are aliens, they cant leave their planet as we can, so we pretty much are stuck to signal communication

or basically we are protected from alien invaders smile.gif unless someone on those large planets builds a tower of babel as in a pyramid structure huge enough to reach the atmosphere, for them to be able to leave their gravity field

roflmao, we have trouble understanding each other in this very forum.

Now imagine trying to make sense of encrypted communication that might have traveled for thousands of light years biggrin.gif

The question isn't "Could we decrypt alien code?" so much as it is "Would we recognize encrypted alien code as code?". Honestly, given our current understanding of number theory, the latter seems pretty definitive in my estimation.

If you throw enough hair brained kook theories at a wall a few of them are bound to stick.... maybe. It's getting easier to believe that life could have just been blown this way by supernova just like all the other heavier elements... We really need to find similar organic matter on other bodies before we can put a checkmark into that box. We haven't reached that technical step to make that feat though. Monkey beings are still in their proverbial crib.

Since we are the ones making the questions, they can be whatever we want them to be. As a matter of fact I didn't even set up a proper question.

All we have are assumptions based on our models and current understanding of the subject matter, and we pose questions accordingly.

Whether we can understand an alien transmission of information is quite a complex problem. The best we can do is speculate.

Not really. The topic of the original post and therefore thread based on said post is quite clear. BiG StroOnZ is the only one "making the questions" in that respect.
