First EKWB loop - Pre-final check and advice

Thread Starter
So, general info first.

I currently have 2xGTX980Ti G1 Gaming GPUs in SLI, and the temps are a bit high for my taste. I have the NZXT Phantom 820 case and would like to invest in a custom watercooling loop from EKWB. I have a 6700k CPU and I am using a Nepton 140XL AIO for it. I believe I have all the parts needed to make the order but I am getting a bit confused with the correct fittings (especially for the PE 360mm radiator and the pump as according to the EKWB site the recommended fittings are EK-CSQ and EK-PSC which are stated to be at End of Life). So does that mean that they will also be using the EK-ACF (12/16mm as the tubing is also 16mm) fittings?

Could anyone just check the parts to see if I am correct and whether I need anything else? Any smaller accessories I am missing or something similar. Also, I might not have enough budget to include the second GPU in the loop, and wanted to ask whether this would be a problem? Water cooling only one GPU (the top one) instead of both?

Another question is whether my current Gigabyte G1 Gaming backplate is fine or whether I should buy one from EKWB as well? I would prefer to use the one I already have to save some on my budget if possible.

Here is my current log regarding the loop: Pump - Radiator - CPU - GPU - GPU - Radiator - Pump

You can EK-ACF compression fitting as long as the size of the fitting and the tube match.

I think you can water cool one GPU and keep the other one on air, not problem with that, if you can find free space around after fitting the loop, you got my point thumb.gif

Why are you using Hard line fittings with the GPU "Fittings: EK-HDC 16mm (G1/4) included" and what do u mean by "included" ? does it come with the GPU from EK, since based on my knowledge it does not thinking.gif , you have to buy it separately.

Looks good! So long as you make sure the fittings match the tubing, as BrjSan said.
