Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe only Asus 9 series and later motherboards have NVME support.

I've been looking into the Kingston Predator for my ASUS GENE VII (z97) which has an m.2 PCIe 2.0 x4 port. I realize putting one of these shiney new 850 PRO's might not hit full speeds but how much of a difference would there be?

Been doing a lot of googling but there's not really much comparison and it's hard to say. Thoughts?

And remember folks, that is the 256GB version, which is a good deal slower than 512GB.
That said, looks like its still on top and much faster than SATA3 drives.

Looks like my next drive although I will go with 512GB of course thumb.gif
