Eh! Maybe. Still a pretty beastly card though. Don't know how you're not impressed, this is by far the best card on the market under $800.

Yes! I moved to 1440p and it was like opening up the exhaust on a car. Card performs a ton better at 1440p.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Still running the original 980ti driver. All drivers since release have decreased performance. Can anyone verify if this is worth it? Not that the 980ti needs a boost. biggrin.gif

1440p is a sweet spot for the 980 ti without a doubt in AAA gaming.

And now, micro stutters (30+ms frame time) playing CS:GO @ 7680X1440 with TWO Titan X in SLI, are you kidding me?
The CS:GO update on 9/15 pretty much threw what little optimization the game had to begin with, right out the window. I've also heard that CS:GO is not SLI friendly, and it in fact hurts performance.

Hey I noticed a decent heaven increase too. From 355.84 Dev to 356.04 Dev. I'll do a new bench right now and report back. (Deleted the old ones).

EDIT: I'll include 355.98 as well since that's what this thread is for. - Might take me a while, I'm on some really slow internet.

Benches are in!

In the raw:
Heaven770Lightning.zip 7k .zip file

My 770 Lightning is faster than 99% of all other 770's according to http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/409264 biggrin.gif It darn well better be after all I've done to it. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Cleaned with DDU before each bench. Everything was exactly the same. Waited at least 2 minutes after rebooting before benching (so windows could settle).

355.82:

355.84:

355.98:

356.04:

I noticed something with 356.04, here's some other benches:

356.04 Today 2nd Run:

356.04 1 Week ago without recent DDU (always used when installing), hadn't rebooted in a while, and 1 or 2 light background programs were open:

thinking.gif

EDIT: I should test 770 launch drivers and compare! (Anyone interested or waste of time?)

No benchmark is a waste of time thumb.gif

Had this since the release date and I have had zero issues what-so-ever although since switching to nVidia I have to use DDU between each driver installation or I get crazy DX problems. Anyways, with using DDU to clean out the previous version this version has been absolutely flawless.

DDU = Display Driver Uninstaller

It seems to be working OK so FAR. Its been hit and miss. I don't mind much. As long as a get one working.

I even installed all the crap that comes with it. I can confirm that EVGA X16 precision is working, so far.

As well as GTA V. So I'll be r* later tonight. I may even run Ungine haven.
