IDK I'm on 8.1 no complaints here, it could be your GPU.

2 years with Pascal? That is actually an allright timeframe for a architecture. thumb.gif

2016-2018 is two years. Pascal won't power those supercomputers so what exactly are you referring to?

Soooo, Pascal will be very very short-lived?

Precicely. Volta will. Meaning Pascal would have ~one year before the next gen card is introduced. Sure, it will have two years on the consumer-side, but that's beside my point.

If Pascal isn't planned to be used in supercomputers in the first place it doesn't matter.

I was thinking the same wink.gif a few months ago.

But eventualy took the dive and bought me a 780Ti.

Man way better than my 470's SLi wink.gif

Went for 2nd 780Ti thumb.gif

Did it because I wanted to upgrade too, but was waiting for exact moment. BUT they knew it and always came with a new tech/card while I wanted to buy a "cheap" solution/upgrade.

Like they knew... (marketing, right? wink.gif )
