Hlp Scheme water cooler - Casemod

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
I'm in a casemod project with water cooler. What is the best scheme to keep the lowest temperature for My Case Mod?

1- WATER TANK -> RADIATOR (240mm) -> PUMP -> VGA -> CPU -> MOTHERBOARD -> MEMORY -> RADIATOR (360mm) -> WATER TANK

2- WATER TANK -> RADIATOR (240mm) -> PUMP -> VGA -> RADIATOR (360mm) -> MOTHERBOARD -> CPU -> MEMORY -> WATER TANK

3- WATER TANK -> RADIATOR (240mm) -> PUMP -> VGA -> MEMORY -> CPU -> MOTHERBOARD -> RADIATOR (360mm) -> WATER TANK

WATER TANK -> PUMP -> RADIATOR (240mm) -> CPU -> RADIATOR (360mm) -> VGA -> WATER TANK.

Always pump right after reservoir.
Cooling memory is useless and just adds restriction to the water flow.
Cooling the motherboard (VRMs?) will only help if you're doing massive overvoltied overclocks, otherwise it is useless and just adds restriction to the water flow.

Use 1/2" ID tubing and fittings.
