So doing a search on google got me to the matrix platinum page. Reading the posts with find strix I got to the last page and behold, I found a tool which allows our cards to be able to use higher voltage!! I attached the link and the post for the tool is on page 19. If someone actually uses the tool and is successfully in gaining a higher OC please post back. I cannot test today as I am packing and moving back to college tomorrow. I will try to post to see if I gained anything out of the tool of noone else beats me to it.

Edit: Alright so the tool does work. It however changes the GPU voltage not the core voltage. So I am thinking of changing my bios to the higher voltage and see if it goes up to. Not sure how the two are connected but I still could not get a higher of of 1506mhz as it still crashes at 1252volts applied by the tool. I will post again after I see how the bios edits work out.

So the voltage tool does work. However, I did not get any higher of an overclock on my card. Maybe someone with a lower ASIC card can try and see if they gain anything. Especially if your card is under water.

First; sorry for bumping an old thread.

What's the current best modded bios for the Asus Strix GTX 980 Ti out there? I downloaded a few from one of the early pages, including one called "980 Strix Dark.rom".

With the original bios, which came with my card, I was able to get a steady overclock to ~1483 Mhz. (base clock).

Obviously I am looking into getting the most out of my card.
So I am hoping someone can recommend me a good modded bios for my Asus Strix GTX 980 Ti.

Thank you kindly in advance!

//edit

Additional information; I am not watercooling the card, I am using the stock cooling solution on the Strix. Maybe I should leave it as it is and not flash it with a custom bios? Asic's quality was around 72% or 73% (if I recall correctly).

Somebody could help me.

I have 2 asus strix dc3OC in sli one with bios .2b and one with bios .81. Could you change them?

I work at different voltages, please can you put that modified bios I can install to get the most out?

They are with the original cooling system.

Hi, i have a strix 980ti dc3... I've make a custom bios with voltage mod and tdp mod but the voltage stuck at 1.20v. What I've done? I try to flash other bios but when card goes on load, the monitor goes black and i need to restart pc.

Is this a strix locked?

Could you please help me? The gpu throttling with tdp unlocked... can you please make a better bios so? Thank You!

Make sure you unlock the 3 voltage tabs in the bios with kepler editor, but your card should be unlocked still.
