Yes. At stock the card was terrible. Couldn't push +40Mhz core.

I concur on staying away from reference design unless you are wc'ing. TitanX is great but not worth it. And honestly unless you have multiple monitors you'll only need one 980ti for 1440p .... trust me! Unless you want to show off your epeen then by all means. biggrin.gif
Problem is if still need to buy a waterblock so works out dearer than the Asus Poseidon or Kfa2.
Must admit I take big pride in the visual aspect of my PC as well as the performance so 2 defo looks better than one! Lol eg who's ever declined a threesome!

I thought maybe G1 with waterblock, but I just looked and the card is freaking 12 inches long. I would have to buy a new case if I wanted to watercool it, there is no way I could fit it and my tube res in my Switch 810. If I don't go that route, I'll probably get a reference card and waterblock for a FTW.

Same length as the 780 Classy then, which is what I have now which still wouldn't allow me to use my tube res without some serious compromises. Guess I could buy a bay res which allowed me to attach my D5 to it, but I've kind of been wanting to downsize cases and get one with the dedicated SSD mounts, etc.

What do you think of the waterblock on the Asus Poseidon? Do u think it will be much worse than a custom block?
I don't mind if it's a couple .c hotter but I'm worried because it's a hybrid it will sacrifice a lot and will be crap to oc

That's only the back plate which for those who want to, will fit on after the water block is installed. With just the wb and bp installed it will be much shorter. thumb.gif
