You are really wrong. If you do this, doesn't mean that everyone does it.
For best purposes, there should be included STOCK and OC versions. If they have a golden GPU that does 50% OC, many people will think that its simply the GPU being far superior, but when they buy it, the results will be far different. Reviews done in such way are actually benefiting nVidia. You get 10% lead on the 980 Ti over the Fury X because of this 20% OC it has. Stock to stock, the difference is 2-5%. Amount of people that are buying top tier cards to overclock them are not much. You buy a GPU so you don't have to OC' it to have increased performance. Why only ExtreemeTech used reference cards, on Stock ? It is about basic - average performance, not maximum possible that you can get with OC.
