Welcome to my first build log!

Being my first foray into the custom PC world, I was inspired by a lot of great looking builds and thought I would have a go myself.

I love the simple clean look of the Define R5 so this will be the perfect case to start.

The true aim is to establish a clean looking, symmetry-focussed, pure black and white build that will pack some fine gear without going OTT.

Thanks guys.

Tested the graphics card, all looks great and all others working 100% so far.

The nervousness will certainly be gutting out the air cooler in preparation for the Bitspower GPU block.. I'll leave that for tomorrow, few too many beers tonight...

So after testing the 980 GTX which worked flawlessly, and updated to the latest drivers, its time to cut the guts out and prep for the Bitspower block.

Every Bitspower clear acrylic part needs a polish if you want to attain a crystal clear look, see below.
I polished the G1/4 section for reference to the main untouched block.

I will be using a dremel polishing bit and some PlastX (Meguirs). No need for 2000 grit sandpaper, just the compound and a dremel
