Hmmm well that sucks. I thought they would of been the same.

But it looks like you could use a 980M in the 980GTX's place since they have the same thingo.

Unless the mounting holes and pcb layout are the same as a standard mxm 3b card you're going to have a hard time upgrading it in the future. That pic of the laptop 980 reminds me of the Asus mxm cards in older G series laptops.

i Can say this upon talking to MSI techs. Anyone with a GT80 TITAN is guaranteed to be able to upgrade to the next Gen card and In SLI as well.
they didnt specify if it was the GTX980 or some new Card. THats all they would tell me on the phone. redface.gif

There is going to be regular MXM versions, but they won't be full power. The max on the Laptop 980 is 200w.

...I'm hoping for a regular MXM Pascal card later on, it will probably be faster than any version of the L980.
