That ad seems like it would be for something besides a video card. "The new way to game" sounds like a service or console or something.

Well, the Fury X is a good card ... not great, but good. IMO, it is little more than a test platform for HBM. Problem is, they can't make enough of them.
The Fury is a meh card. It's not bad, but honestly, if the Fury X was more available, less people would buy it.
The Nano, I'm sorry, that is an expensive card that is for a niche that doesn't really exist yet.

This.

I will never go SLI/dual GPU again.

As it stands now, AMD can't even provide enough Fury X's to meet consumer demand.

But either way, both the GTX 990 or Fury X (or what ever you want to call them) are going to be very niche cards, and aren't going to be even remotely close to a main stream card.

I'm just saying.

yeah, I said not bad... not good :-D

Honestly though... I'd still choose green every day simply for EVGA

I hear ya. I love EVGA cards ... pretty much aside from a Strix for my daughters card, every nVidia card I've ever owned was from EVGA. I wonder what would happen if they did both AMD and nVidia .... like Asus does.

Probably something about buying your games through geforce experience or something gimmicky like that.
Nah. I think it has to do with the dual GM200 card. "New way to play" means exactly that. Can't play without a GPU. And all the rumors of the card launching, its just too easy to see.

That's the way I see it. Hopefully they'll price it reasonably and nothing absurd like the Titan Z which probably sold like 5 units.

Don`t quote me on this but there is a rumor that there will be a new Geforce Experience launching as well on October 1st..

What else, well that remains to be seen smile.gif
