How exactly do I do and submit a Reference Clock benchmark. The rules on HWBOT are really unclear. I ran it in the CPU-Z benchmark, validated it, but after that who knows for sure. frown.gif

HWBot x265 4K (Intel)
HWBot x265 1080p (Intel)
Reference Clock
Catzilla 720p (Nvidia)
GPUPi 32B (AMD)

Isn't that supposed to be 'HWBot x265 1080p (AMD)'?

You use the reference clock as your score.  Your validation should show the reference clock on it, use that number like you would if your submitting for Frequency.

I've got a 314mhz reference clock on a S754.
I also have a 279.99Mhz ref. clock on a ASUS P5VD2-MX and 240Mhz on a Giga GA-8IPE1000-G
I have pics of the Gigabyte testbench, but the ASUS board is dead i think (i switched the CLR_CMOS jumper while it was on and it refused to POST/BOOT anymore rolleyes.gif ) also the ASUS validation was made on CPU-Z 1.70, i can get pics of the board, but I don't remember what setup i used that day...
And I could get pics of the S754 Testbench...
Should I try submitting those results? They aren't great, but they were all made on Stock Intel or AMD Coolers...

I got just over 174 on an AOI cooler and I'm #3 with a Rampage V Extreme so yes, i think you should submit them. biggrin.gif

But right now i don't have the pics...
I will submit the 314mhz one next weekend. (i don't know if the other 2 submissions are worth, they are pretty low ref. clocks compared to other submissions on Water/DICE/LN2)
Anyways, i have already submitted it on HWBot. Linky for those who want to see the 314Mhz validation.
I think i could improve it just by raising the VCore, but IIRC this motherboard doesn't even have a Voltage options, maybe tweaking a bit more with the RAM (crappy Value RAM always gives me problems)

I believe they are supposed to be new submissions for the competition. frown.gif Any chance of some updated scores from you?

I think i could probably squeeze 1 Mhz more on the ref. clock biggrin.gif
If i remember correctly, the thing didin't want to Boot at 320Mhz, so i will try something like 316 or 317.
Actually, i'm pretty sure i could get 350Mhz on a better board. I've got a Gigabyte K8N-S (nForce3). I could try that chip on that board, but the K8N-S is a bit picky with RAM, also, it "died" one month ago and it revived itself like 2 weeks ago (?)
