New 5820k chip good?

Purchased MSI x99 Gaming 7 with 5820k yesterday and compared to my old Ivy chip the overclocking is a little confusing. So far I changed the vcore to offset mode with +.005 in BIOS which gives me 1.306 in CPU-z with 4.6 overclock. I set VCCIN voltage to 2.100 in bios which gives me 2.016v in HWinfo64.

Running Intel Extreme Utility while typing this and everything seems stable so far.

Any other settings I should touch? Also I'm surprised by the temps I'm getting. With these settings they are actually lower than my IVY 3570k at 4.7. I'm hoping to get 4.7 out this chip and I am expecting some break in so I might have to lower the core clock eventually.

So I bumped it down to 4.5 since the pc rebooted while running Intel Extreme Utility. Is the Vccin to high?

I've been running 1.36vcore @ 4.5 overclock for most of the day playing games like BF4, and Rainbow Six Beta. Going to attempt to get around 1.34 or 1.33 hopefully. If I'm missing any settings please let me know. I dropped the VCCIN down to 1.9.

I would like to use Hyperthreading but it adds so much heat and always crashes my pc while gaming. I didn't reformat so could that be the problem?

For Haswell-E I wouldn't go above 1.300V for 24/7. Also high cpu input voltage can kill Haswells pretty quickly. 2.100 is insane for 24/7
The best stability program is OCCT (Large Data Set) IMO. Intel XTU, Realbench, Aida64 don't stress the CPU hard enough from my testing, you can be stable all day in them but once you open a game you will have crashes in few minutes.

I ran 1.35 on Ivy and sometimes 1.4 for gaming for about 3-4 years. Chip showed some slight degradation but minor bump increase on voltage fixed that. Chip can still run 4.8 @ 1.4v. So I might be selling that soon.

I don't leave on PC all day. I use it for gaming and turn it off when I'm not using it with the down clocking when idle.

Right now I'm running 1.35 for 4.4. I'm wondering if I buy an AIO cooler would I be able to run higher clocks with similar voltage. I've read online some people saying 1.4vcore is fine.

The input voltage is down to 1.9 and I haven't had an issue so I'll be leaving it there.

Source on this? That's not the conclusions i saw for regular (quad core) Haswell - there was no problem with using however much as you needed, just little reason to increase it further. In fact some benchers even used values such as 2.2 - 2.4, there was just no reason to do it if unneccesary.
