[Build Complete] Janice - Corsair 380T Intel/ATI build (or how to cram a Sapphire 390 into a 380t)

Greetings all!

It has finally come time to replace/refresh my SG05 build!

This is the current state of things.. The Thermaltake PSU died out under load and I desperately needed more storage space for my growing Steam Library

Parts:
ASUS P8Z77-I DELUXE
Intel 2500k @ 4.8ghz (No use upgrading for gaming/etc as at 4.8ghz, benches with the latest)
Ripjaws 16GB DDR3-1600
Sapphire Nitro 390 w/ backplate
2x Samsung 840 EVO 256GB
2x 1TB HDD RAID0
Corsair H100i GTX CPU Cooler
Corsair CX750M Modular PSU

I've seen so many 380T builds with Nvidia cards, I had to shake things up a bit and cram things together! Initial reports online state the Sapphire 390 should fit with 1mm of clearance thumb.gif

Hopefully the 8GB of onboard RAM on the GPU should keep this a bit future proof and handle my plans to do VR at the end of the year!

It's going to be so nice to have 2x 2.5 and 2x 3.5 internal bays, previously the SSDs hanged out unsecured in the SG05.

Parts come in Wednesday, commencing build soon!

Case is out for delivery, yippie! The H100i GTX and Bitfenix 200mm fan came yesterday. I expertly installed them and did some cable mismanagement.

Tired of it sitting on my desk, but I must say - it's dead quiet!

Note to all, the Sapphire Rage 390 FITS! Just barely, not even 1mm gap - it just literally fits. It touches BOTH sides and *some* wrangling is required but you can fit it in!

Build complete, note the Bitfenix 200mm fan will stop at any speed lower then max on the fan controller. I need to switch it over to mobo header.
