How to bin a frequency monster FX chip ?

Hello Everybody.

Here , I'm going to start a little long time project about bining Visheras to go for maximum CPU-Z.
Of cource 8 Ghz will be my first goal smile.gif
I know there is a lot of things about something like this but the first thing is to find the chip. smile.gif
So this is the way i want to do :
Buy two chips per month , test on Air/Water , sell them (if not desired enough ) and buy next two.

My time and budget are limited , and i can't go for LN2 many times.
that's why i need your helps and experiences.
Because i need be sure to find a chip that can do at last 8 Ghz , then go for Extreme OC.

So , for a vishera , how much good it should be to be sure that can hit 8 Ghz or more ?
I mean all about your experiences and knowledge around such a good chip on Air.
What about max frequency on what voltage and temperature range ?
Or benching and any other characters ..?
Any offer for good batches ?

It would be hard to do this based on try and error without get help from the community.
I will share things and test resaults.
Of Cource the C5F-Z is in hand ,
and would be nice to see somebody here that have a experiment with a 8.4 Ghz chip or even more biggrin.gif

9xxx , 8370 , 8370E & 8320E seems hard to get for me.

best regards ,

What exactly makes you think like this ?

Well, because only one person in the world has gotten an FX cpu to 8 GHz. The people with the knowledge to approach that kind of frequency don't ask the kinds of questions that you did to be honest. So I assumed it was a troll post.

He wants to know if there is a way he can bin chips for high LN2 clocks without testing their maximum potential on LN2.

Frankly, I don't have a clue about extreme Vishera OCing, so I have no idea if there are trends to look for beyond simply trying to find the highest clocking parts at certain voltages, but this is what Amardio seems to be asking.

Thanks Blameless , that's what i am asking.

@ chrisjames61
This is a big community , named as "overclock" . So it would not be a shame if i ask anything about overclocking.
Even i didn't ask about "How to ovrerclock" !.
I know there are people here that touched 8 Ghz ,I just wants to know what is theme chips behavior on Air/Water cooling to put on my way for binnig.
Is it a lot thing to ask from somebody named himself as "overclocker"?
Overclocking would not be here if people didn't share their experiences , for sure.

First chip , 8350 , stock VID=1.3V
CU0 : 5320 Mhz @ 1.42 V
In single core can do 5.4 @ 1.46 V , but not stable enough.
Never chance to pass 5.4 even with 1.52V. maybe the temperature was the problem! it is a god damn hot chip ,
Needs to test other cores with PSCheck.
