The reality is performance scales differently depending on the game and how much effort the developer puts into it. It can range from even less than 50% to nearly 100% increase in performance. I have yet to purchase a game in the last few years that doesnt have SLI support. Nvidia is timely with driver releases and sli profiles. There are few games that i play that have no SLI suppport and I have well over 100 just in steam, origin and ubi.
