Any external DACs that work for both PC and Xbox 360?

Thread Starter
I currently own an Aune T1 DAC and Audio-Technica AD900X headphones, paired with an AT2020USB microphone.

All three work on my PC, albeit I don't have a USB port on my laptop at the moment. None of them currently work on my Xbox 360, excluding the AD900X, which I have to wire through my utterly ****ty sounding TV... What was an airy sound, with tight, controlled bass became, well, literally no bass.

Seeing as I don't want to go to a USB headset, my main problem is finding a DAC that will work with the Xbox 360.

So, any recommendations?

There are 2 ways:
1. Get a DAC with optical input, either one with an amplifier (like Aune) or a plain DAC which you plug to the Aune T1 "Audio in"-port.
2. Use the xbox360 own RCA audio-outputs and plug it to your Aune T1.

Xbox360 can output video from HDMI and audio from RCA at the same time, so you don't have to get a DAC.
Personally I'm using this DIY setup: How-To: Xbox360 HDMI & RCA audio

Ish, I was hoping I could use the DAC part of the Aune T1, cause that's what uses the tube. Looks like I need a new tube DAC or tube amp then. So the Aune T1 could potentially become sellage soon.

To make matters worse, my Xbox 360 is the super slim, so no optical out. I knew going for aesthetics would backfire on me, and it surely has. Well, I don't use my Xbox 360 E that much either, so that could potentially become sellage too.

It's moot now, since I found a PS4 for $270. I'm gonna try the Aune T1 on that. If it doesn't work, it's sellage.
